Send us an e-mail with your phone number if you want us to call you, or call us toll free. Leave a message if we're not there; we may be on the road researching tours. We check messages daily and will call you promptly!

Our Wilderness Pledge:

We want to give back to the wilderness areas that have provided so much beauty and pleasure for us and for our customers, therefore 5 % of our pre-tax profit is contributed to charities that support our natural and wild areas. We feel it is important to be socially responsible; to be stewards of the earth's fragile flora and fauna, and our customers agree.
Teri

Wagonmaster and Top Turtle:
Company founder, Teri Fahrendorf, recently had the first part of a three-part article published by Tales & Trails, the national teardrop enthusiast publication. You can click here for the full text and recipes of A Teardrop Adventure: 24 Days on the Road.

Teri got her first taste of adventure, camping with her family in Wisconsin in a pop-up trailer. In her 10th year, the family of six road-tripped to New England for three weeks. At 18 she attended a 26-day Outward Bound course at the Hurricane Island School in Maine. Later at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, Teri was an active member and treasurer of Hobnailers, the campus outdoors club.

As the founder of RV Caravan Tours, Teri developed the company and the tours after her 24-day road trip around the West in 1999 (see link above). RV Caravan Tours went "Live" on August 9, 2000, with the debut of this website.

Since 1990 Teri has lived in and explored Oregon. Prior to that she lived in and explored Northern California. Teri brings her enthusiasm for adventure, the outdoors, and her unique organizational skills to RV Caravan Tours. She has designed each of our special tours to give you the quintessential Pacific Northwest experience. She really thinks you'll have fun on your tour, and she looks forward to sharing local and historical narrative over the CB radio.

Teri's mundane life is anything but mundane; she's a brewmaster with 13 years of experience in the microbrewing industry. Previous to that, Teri was a systems analyst with a Fortune 100 computer company in Minneapolis and San Francisco.

We encourage you to call us on our toll free number 1-866-324-8084, or e-mail us at , and get to know us before you make your decision to tour with us!

Little Buddy:
Little Buddy follows us around during our research trips. He's been all over the west, especially the pacific northwest. Little Buddy is a vintage 1999 teardrop camper. Please see our Links page for more information on teardrops.
Teardrop Camper
Big Bertha:
Big Bertha is a 29 foot Class C motorhome. We've removed the bed from the rear bedroom so we have room to store our portable fire pit, charcoal grills, camp chairs, firewood, charcoal, and other supplies we need to outfit our tours for you.

Our Mascot:
Rudi Valenturtle is our logo, and yes, his initials are "RV". Rudi takes his home with him when he travels, just like a Recreational Vehicle, and he's got wheels for feet because he's on a road trip. He's looking back over his shoulder to make sure the next turtle in the caravan is there behind him. The friendly red door shows that folks are welcome, and he's got the globe in the background because there's a lot to see in this big old world.

Rudi represents the concept of Slow Travel, because you can't be in a big hurry if you really want to experience a place. Join Rudi on an RV Caravan Tours adventure, and experience each geographical region one section at a time.
