The Fine Print From United Mileage Plus:

The double miles offer only applies to purchases made with your Mileage Plus credit card from October 1, 2003 through November 30, 2003 at businesses classified by Visa and MasterCard as Mail Order/Telephone Order establishments. Your United Mileage Plus credit card account must be open and not delinquent in order to receive double miles at the time the miles are posted. The double miles are non-transferable. The miles will be reflected on your monthly credit card statement 8-10 weeks following November 20, 2003.

Your United Mileage Plus credit card account must be open and in good standing in order to receive bonus miles at the time the miles are posted. Bonus miles do not count towards mileage caps. Miles accrued and awards issued are subject to the rules of the United Mileage Plus program. The miles referred to are not actual miles but represent Mileage Plus credits in the United Mileage Plus Program. United, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents are not responsible for any products and services of other participating companies and partners.
